These are actually superior to the SL1200. Yes I have had both and this is my second PLX-1000. This one arrived in like new condition except for the dust cover with was broken in transit. I came in the original box but without the styrofoam inserts. I am hoping they will replace the dust cover. Will keep the turntable.

Yes, yes, the PLX-1000 is surprisingly good for listening (not for mixing). It has superb isolation. The tonearm is fantastic. It has an antiskating control that goes up to 6 grams! The high torque is good for scratching, but for mixing, stick with the SL-1200mk2. The digital pitch is awful on the PLX-1000 and not so accurate compared to the SL-12000mk2. Plus the pitch control is mounted on the main board, which makes replacing tricky and a nightmare.

I’m not using this pro turntable in a club. Home use only. The plx1000 has great sound ! I’m using a AT vm540 cart. Clean clear sound, tracks well. I listen to classic rock most of the time mixed with pop and some jazz. 90 percent of my albums are over 30 years old. I’m a direct drive guy. I was using a Technics sldd33 that is over 30 years old. Still works fine! I was going to buy another Technics but I couldn’t justify paying 300.00 or more for the same thing. The plx1000 gets very good reviews, trust me I checked out just about all of the reviews. I also looked at all of the cutting board type turntables. Seemed cheap to me, most overpriced! The only thing I don’t like about the plx1000 is the manual drop on the tone arm is too fast, other than that I would recommend it.

Que no trajera fonocaptor y que por lo menos una lista de cuáles son compatibles por lo demás excelente
